Sahara India Refund Re-Submission Process and Eligibility. Millions of investors in Sahara India Parivar’s financial schemes have been waiting in agony for more than ten years to get their money back. Millions of depositors were left in uncertainty due to the conglomerate’s legal disputes, which began in 2010, and many of them gave up on ever getting their money back. However, hope has been restored.

A Recap of the Sahara Saga

When the Supreme Court declared in 2012 that Sahara India Parivar’s optionally fully convertible debentures (OFCDs) were unlawfully issued, the once-well-known company suffered a devastating blow. With 15% yearly interest, the court ordered the group to return ₹24,000 crore to more than 30 million investors. Due to complicated procedures, contested claims, and suspected mismanagement, the refund process stalled even after Sahara deposited ₹15,000 crore with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
