Recently, during a debate in assembly, it was said that the Rajasthan Government has filled 25,000 positions in the medical department in its first year. Additionally, 26501 positions are being filled through recruitment, which should be finished by the end of 2025. Taking a jibe at the previous government, the Health Minister also reminded that the Congress hired only 27,490 people for the medical department in five years. In just one year, the state government has accomplished a great deal.

Grants Approved for Medical and Health Department

This important announcement was made when the Medical and Health Minister was responding to the debate on the grant demands of the Medical and Health Department and Medical Education Department in the Assembly on Thursday, 6th March 2025. After the discussion, the House passed the grant demands of Rs. 133,28,96,25,000 of the Medical and Health Department. Rs. 61,31,82,57,000 was approved for the Medical Education Department by voice vote.

Mukhyamanti Ayushman Arogya Yojana: He said that with in two months, MAA Yojana will be accessible for interstate portability. After this, citizens of other states will also be able to come here and get medical treatment in Rajasthan under this scheme. In the next 6 months, citizens of Rajasthan will be able to go to other states and get treatment under the MAA Yojana. He said that the civil work of the cardiac tower under construction on the SMS campus has been completed.
