Important Notice About GUJCET Exam

It is important for candidates to understand that JEE Main 2025 will not serve as a substitute for GUJCET when it comes to admission into engineering and pharmacy programs across Gujarat. Those students who are appearing for the GSEB HSC examinations and aiming to pursue a Degree in Engineering or a Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy must qualify in GUJCET 2025 to be considered for admission to state-affiliated institutions.

GUJCET Marking Scheme and Cut-off Marks, 2025

GUJCET was conducted in a traditional pen-and-paper format. The GUJCET 2025 question paper was in multiple-choice question (MCQs) form across four key subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology. In total, 120 questions were asked, with 40 questions from each subject. 

According to the official marking scheme, candidates receive one mark for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response.

For the marks vs percentile calculation, scores from different education boards like GSEB, CBSE, ICSE, and NIOS will be considered. The admission process for undergraduate engineering courses will be based on a weighted score, where 40% weightage is given to the GUJCET score and the remaining 60% to Class 12 board exam marks.
