According to the New National Education Policy 2020, it has been made mandatory for all Indian students to register for APAAR ID Form Submission. The Ministry of Education has initiated this program to make a twelve-digit unique Identity number which will be linked to the Aadhaar number of students across India. According to the government, more than 30 Crore APAAR ID Cards have been created till 2025 and over 35 Lakhs academic records of students from across India have been mapped with APAAR IDs until now.
