PM Cares Free Coaching Scheme 2025,After Rajashtan’s Anuprati Free Coaching Scheme, now the central government is also going to provide free coaching to the students for the preparation for the JEE, NEET and UPSC Civil Services Examination under the PM Cares Free Coaching Scheme 2025.
According to the scheme’s official notification, students will be given free coaching to prepare for various country-level competitive exams. Through this scheme, the Indian Government intend to offer high-quality coaching education to SC and OBC Students as well as students who are already receiving the benefits of the PM Cares Scheme.
PM Cares Scheme beneficiaries will also be able to take benefits as the government has removed all the regulations related to income and caste limits. Under this PM Cares Free Coaching Scheme 2025, shortlisted students will get coaching for various competitive examinations.

Understanding PM Care Scheme?
The PM Cares Scheme was launched in 2021 with an commitment to provide financial help for education to children whose parents died due to COVID-19. Children who lost their parents or legal guardians between 11-03-2020 and 05-05-2023 will be eligible for this scheme.

The PM Cares Children Scheme provides financial assistance of Rs 50,000 per annum to each student for each year of study. It is provided for a maximum of 4 years of degree and a maximum of 3 years for diploma students who have been admitted in the first year. They are provided a lump sum amount for payment of college fees and purchase of laptops, stationery, books, equipment, software, etc.
Which Courses will be provided Free under PM Cares Free Coaching?
The PM Cares Free Education Scheme includes free coaching services for CSE(Civil Services Exam) conducted by UPSC, State PCS(Public Service Commission), officer-grade recruitment exams for banks, insurance companies and public sector undertakings (PSUs). Apart from this, free coaching will also be provided to eligible students for entrance examinations like JEE, NEET, CAT, and CLAT. Students who are preparing for international studies can also apply for PM Cares Free Coaching scheme for courses including GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL and SAT. This scheme also provides funds for defense exams such as NDA and CDS.
Selection Process: Annual Income Criteria for PM Cares Coaching Scheme
To be eligible for the PM Cares Free Coaching Scheme, the family income of SC and OBC students should be Rs 8 lakh per annum or less. Students must have attained a minimum of 50% marks in their class X and XII to take advantage of this scheme. Under the selection process for this scheme, a panel created by including central universities will review the applications. A shortlist of selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of merit. On the other hand, students under the PM Cares Scheme will be allowed for direct admissions and will not need to go through this selection procedure.
How many students will be selected under this Scheme?
3,500 students will be selected per year under the PM Cares Free Coaching Scheme 2025. Out of these 3500, 70% of students will be allotted from the SC category, while 30% will be reserved for OBC students. Out of all the seats in each category, 30 percent seats will be reserved for women, but if there are not enough women in the particular category, remaining blank seats will be allotted to only that category men. Students who are already taking advantage of the PM Cares Scheme will be shortlisted without going through the selection process and there is no limit for such students.
Additional Benefits for Students under PM Cares Free Coaching
Under this program, the government will provide the funds for coaching fees from Rs. 20,000 to $75000, which can vary according to the course. Apart from this, students will also get a monthly stipend of Rs 4,000 for 12 months to help them with their expenses.
