"Samman Samaroh" of Retired University Teachers on Teachers' Day  

T. M. Bhagalpur University organized "Felicitation Ceremony" of retired University Teachers on the occasion of Teachers' Day on 5th September, 2010 at University Senate Hall.

Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. K. N. Dubey, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Dhrub Kumar, Dean, Student's Welfare, Dr. R. P. Upadhayay, Registrar Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sinha and other University Officials along with HOD's, Principals of different colleges were present on this occasion.

Around 25 retired University Teachers were honoured by Hon'ble VC and PVC by presenting Memento and 'Ang-Vastram' for their valuable service to the University.

" Dawat-e-Iftar " hosted by Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor,TMBU on 01/09/2010  

Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. K.N. Dubey hosted grand 'Dawat-e-Iftar' at  VC's residence on 1st September,2010. It is first time that Iftar party was organised at TMBU.

It was really a rare glimpse to see Vice-Chancellor, University Officials, HOD's of PG departments, Principals of different colleges and all university Staffs including Third Grade and Fourth Grade Employees sitting together for the religious observances of Holy Month of Ramadan as a community to break their fast together.

VC Dr. Dubey  personally greeted everyone on this occasion by putting Itra( perfume).

B.Ed. Course Entrance Exam date announced

The Entrance Examination for admission in B. Ed. Course at S. M. College, Bhagalpur will be held on 12th September, 2010.

* The Application Form No. will be considered as Roll No. for the Examination.

Centres for Entrance Examination:

S. M. College : Roll No. 01 to Roll No. 1500

T. N. B. College : Roll No. 1501 to Roll No. 3000

Marwari College: Roll No. 3001 to Roll No. 3807

Timing of  Entrance Examination

10.30 am to 12.30 pm ( 2 Hours)
* Candidates are requested to report one hour before the scheduled time at their respective examination centres.

Dean, Faculty of Law appointed

Dr. S. K. Pandey, Prof-In-charge, T.N.B. Law College has been appointed as Dean, Faculty of Law, T. M. Bhagalpur University

24 hours Medical Facility at University Health Centre

Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. K. N. Dubey has ordered for  round the clock medical facility at University Health Centre, T. M. Bhagalpur University. It is first time in TMBU that 24 hours medical facility and assistance will be provided to Students, University Staffs and public of local area at University Health Centre.

B.Com Part III - 2010 result declared

The results for B. Com (Hons.) Part III -2010 of TMBU has been  declared.

Application requested from TMBU teachers for promotion...

Those teachers who have not yet applied for the promotion under the Time Bound/ Merit Promotion/ Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) may apply again upto 30th August, 2010. The application form is available in the Promotion Cell of the University.

Pre- Ph.D. Test on 14/09/2010

Pre Ph.D. test will be held on 14th September,2010 in the University Multipurpose Hall. The last date for submission of application form in University Central Office is 28th August,2010.

B.Ed. Course in S.M.College :
Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University is starting B.Ed. Course in S.M. College, exclusively for girls. 80 percent seats will be reserved for TMBU graduates. The Course fee will be around Rs. 36000. 

New Hostels for Research Scholars and OBC Girls :
Research Hostel : The allotment for research students at the newly constructed Research Hostel will be started from the first week of July.

OBC Girls Hostel : The allotment of seats at OBC Girls hostel has been started. Approximately 50 OBC girls are already staying in the hostel.
